The Rehearsal Dinner
Dear friends and family members, as Lisa’s parents, tonight is a truly special and emotional moment for us. Seeing our daughter here, on the eve of her one-year wedding anniversary, we thank God that He gave us Lisa to care for and mature into the wonderful person she is today.
From the day Lisa was born, she has brought so much happiness to our lives and in many ways, she restored our youth. And now, as we stand before you tonight, Rita and I feel so blessed that we were able to pour into her God’s grace and love and watch her pass on God’s grace and love onto others.
Now, I want to take a moment to express my deep appreciation to everyone gathered here. Your presence tonight shows just how much love and support surrounds our family. Your friendship and love for Lisa has meant the world to both of us, and we will be forever grateful.
To Lisa and Landry, words cannot adequately express the depth of love we have for you both. Your love story has been a beautiful journey to witness.
Our hope and prayers for you is that you will continue to fill each day with all the joy, peace, patience, kindness and faithfulness that you deserve.
